Stern Cardiovascular to partner with Baptist Hospital

“The healthcare landscape is in a state of flux. Forces beyond our control are driving alliances between hospitals and medical practices. Therefore, we diligently undertook a regional examination of the partnership opportunities available to us that made financial sense without affecting the quality of medical care of which we are so proud.
We are thrilled to announce that the result of our search is an agreement to enter into a strategic affiliation with Baptist Hospital, one of the leading hospitals in the Southeast. This will enable us to continue to provide patients with the most advanced diagnostic services and treatments in cardiovascular medicine, as well as continue the innovative research and community service that have been a part of our rich history.
By combining the healthcare assets and personnel of these two great institutions, we are
ensuring our ability to continue the tradition of excellence pioneered by our founders, Neuton and Thomas Stern, and the other skilled physicians and dedicated employees who were fortunate enough to work with, and learn from them. This affiliation with Baptist will allow us to partner with an extraordinary organization while at the same time remaining true to the values and quality of patient care.”
